Following the signing of the sangomar FPSO project, recently, "Jiangsu  Leadair HVAC Technology Co., Ltd.”  will provide the whole ship spiral duct and accessories for CIMC Raffles mero3 FPSO.

 This project is the third FPSO project undertaken by "Jiangsu Lead-Air HVAC Technology Co., Ltd” in 2021. It is the achievement of Leadair team in "overcoming difficulties and rushing to the front line of business". It is also the recognition and acceptance of Leadair's ability and technology on large-scale international marine engineering projects.

This project is a 300,000 ton VLCC refitting project, with a total length of 329 meters, a width of 60 meters and a depth of 30 meters. The original ship was built in 2005 and currently flies the Singapore flag. This modification is to remove the original living quarters and other modules on the tanker and install dozens of new modules such as oil loading and unloading and Flare Tower, so as to build it into an FPSO with a working depth of 2,000 meters.

FPSO, also known as offshore floating production and storage vessel, is a comprehensive large-scale offshore production facility integrating production and processing, storage and export, living and power supply. It is called "offshore oil and gas processing plant". At present, FPSO is widely suitable for the development of deep-sea, shallow sea areas and marginal oil fields far away from the coast, and has become the mainstream production mode of offshore oil and gas field development. It is also known as the "crown pearl" in the field of petroleum industry because of its high cost, difficult construction and high degree of integration.

Since 2021, Leadair has entered the FPSO market since the Yinson FPSO built by Qidong COSCO.
